IT team planning a deployment before touring a facility

We host tours every weekday, and the difference between a useful tour and a sightseeing trip comes down to three things visitors bring with them. Here's the checklist our sales engineers wish everyone carried in the door.

1. Rack elevations

A simple diagram of what's in each rack — servers, switches, patch panels, blanking — tells us more in two minutes than a half-hour of description. Photos of your current racks work fine if no diagram exists.

2. Nameplate power draws

The sticker ratings on your PDUs and power supplies, plus what you actually meter today. Density determines which row you land on and whether you need standard or high-amp whips — it's the single biggest pricing input.

3. Your growth and compliance picture

How many racks in twelve months? Do auditors need an SSAE-18 report, HIPAA-aligned controls, or badge logs? Knowing this up front means the quote you take home already includes the right cabinets, connectivity and evidence packet.

Bring those three and we'll map your gear onto the floor plan during the visit — most visitors leave with a firm quote the same day. Book your tour, or start with our infrastructure overview.
